Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was spacious, located somewhat over the kitchen, with a separate bedroom and a large room featuring two pull-out queens. The lovely bathroom contrasted with the slightly messy look due to uncleared tables.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great amenities, but they were a bit stuffy. The service was super helpful and accommodating, though there could have been more information provided. The location was excellent for exploring the village and nearby attractions, but the dining options were a little overpriced. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
I stayed at this lovely old carriage house, and although my room was small and located in the eaves over the building, it was the only room on that floor. Unfortunately, the proximity to the lobby, elevator, stairs, and common rooms led to some noise disturbances from people coming in and out late at night.
The hotel features spacious rooms with a sitting area, but lacks cupboards. The variety of baths and showers was bizarre and unacceptable. However, the rooms were great, as was the entire complex.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel! The rooms were cozy and had everything I needed, but watch out for the ceiling beams on the upper floors. The service was exceptional, especially thanks to Gregoire for his warm welcome and helpful recommendations. The location was perfect for exploring the charming village of Amboise, and the dining experience was delicious and worth the additional charge. Overall, a great value for the price paid.
Staying in this 17th-century mansion was a charming experience. The rooms, although under the eaves with limited head height, were impeccably clean, and the big bathrooms were a nice touch. Just a minute away from the Giverny sights, the location was unbeatable. However, the narrow street access required some skillful maneuvering.
